The wool used in Casaveen fine woollen garments is cut from
their own herd of 11,500 merino sheep. The 6,000 acre Casaveen property is
located in the Midlands of Tasmania, Australia, which is one of the world's
premium regions for fine wool production. The property has been in the same family
since the 1830's.
Selective breeding over many years has allowed Casaveen to produce a consistently
fine wool of 21 to 23 microns, with a very soft handle. This is what ensures the unique
quality of their garments. They are beautifully soft to touch, with an excellent
spring-back ability. If you take care of your Casaveen garments, they will retain its
softness and shape over many years of wear.
Casaveen is an accredited ISO9002 company, the international quality standard which
